WE ARE NOT HERE TO SELL, WE ARE HERE TO INSPIRE.
WE ARE NOT HERE TO CONSUME, WE ARE HERE TO CRAFT.
WE ARE HERE TO HELP, UPLIFT, AND SERVE OTHERS.
WE APPRECIATE AUTHENTICITY, HONESTY, HUMILITY, AND JUST THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF HUMOR.
We are ready to DO GREAT WORK, together.

TYLER D. WAY
designer, CREATIVE DIRECTor
What started as a custom sneaker business from his college dorm room evolved into a pointillism art career that included notable clients like Phil Knight, LeBron James, Rip Hamilton, and others.
This same attention to detail led Tyler on multi-year career as a footwear designer/developer for an international corporation before he and his new bride (Kendra) sold everything in order to begin traveling the country on behalf of [HAS HEART] — a nonprofit organization he co-founded in 2011 that partners military veterans with graphic designers to help share their stories through art, design, and fashion.
His passion for creative storytelling, human-centered design, craftsmanship, and social impact led Tyler and Kendra to build their own creative design studio to dedicate their time, talents, and resources towards people and projects they believe in.
You can now book Tyler to speak at your event.
KENDRA CLAPP OLGUÍN
COPYWRITER, CREATIVE FACILITATOR
Following years in the fashion industry as a luxury women’s buyer, Kendra felt unfulfilled from her work in a highly materialistic world. Her introduction to [HAS HEART] reinstated her passion of writing, storytelling, and journalism that she studied while at the University of Michigan.
Her knack for online researching and planning enabled her and Tyler to travel the country to partner veterans and designers on the “50 States” tour where she was the lead project facilitator, Oprah-inspired interviewer, and a reliable source of comedic relief. Her desire to travel yet love of sleeping in her own bed (handcrafted by her dad’s mattress company: Grand Rapids Bedding) were initial inspirations to buy an Airstream and hit the open road.
Kendra’s appreciation of culture, inclusion, and diversity stem from her childhood memories of visiting her mother’s family in Mexico. In fact, the “y” (Spanish for “and”) in the studio name “ONE-Y-ONE” is a nod to the Spanglish convergence of our backgrounds and promising future.
