ONE DAY AT A TIME

2020 was unlike any other the modern world has ever seen.

When I called my grandma and asked how she and my grandpa were doing early on during the pandemic last Spring, her response stuck with me:

WE’RE TAKING IT
ONE DAY AT A TIME.

For months her sweet gentle voice replayed over and over again as a form of encouragement to continue pushing forward day-in and day-out, even if it seemed like things were going nowhere and time was standing still as we stayed home in quarantine day after day after day.

Crafted with layers of symbolism within it, my grandma’s words manifested themselves into a hand-stitched stained glass motif on the back of one of my Carhartt shirts.

Kendra and I have been extremely fortunate during this last half of the decade. We and our families have remained healthy, we were able to hit the road again in our Airstream for our new partner Campspot on the #FindYourCampspot tour, we adopted two loving and lively kittens, Luna and Sunny, and while tomorrow is never promised, we’re appreciative of the moments we have today.

HAPPY NEW YEAR.
